Program and Legal Details

Important legal information and full terms and conditions of the 2021 DEKALB® Bonus Rebates Program (also the “Program”) are set out below.

BayerValue Rules

  1. The BayerValue™ Program (“BayerValue Program”) consists of numerous Bayer CropScience Inc. (“Bayer”) grower programs that are identified by Bayer from time to time as being part of the BayerValue Program. The 2021 DEKALB Bonus Rebates Program (also the “Program”) is part of the BayerValue Program.
  2. BayerValue Program rules (“BayerValue Rules”) apply to all BayerValue Programs including the Program. The complete BayerValue Rules for the 2021 growing season are found here or by calling the Bayer Rebate Fulfillment Centre at 1 888-283-6847.
  3. The BayerValue Rules include consent from the grower respecting the collection, use and disclosure of personal information and use of commercial electronic messages for purposes discussed in the BayerValue Rules. For a summary of key BayerValue Rules privacy and consent terms click here.

Programs

  1. Growers must be enrolled in BayerValue™ West Rewards Program.
  2. Growers must have a valid TSA (Technology Stewardship Agreement).
  3. Program is available to qualifying growers and their farming operations in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, and Peace River Region of British Columbia.
  4. All rewards under the Program will be calculated using the suggested retail price (“SRP”) for applicable products that will be publicly communicated by Bayer for the 2021 growing season. Bayer may change SRP’s of applicable products in its sole discretion.
  5. Farm entity must buy specified minimum of 300 acres of DEKALB® seed for qualification.
  6. Farm entity must have a DEKALB seed booking by January 29th, 2021 to qualify for early booking rebates.
  7. Early booking payments will be made only up to total booked seed unit quantities per crop. Purchases beyond the booking volume will be paid at non-early booking reward rebate.
  8. Eligible Unit Calculation- DEKALB seed booked prior to January 29th, 2021 in the CSS system will qualify for early book rewards. Bookings at this time set maximum amount to qualify on the early book value. Values purchased above this volume will not qualify for early book reward. Final volume will be determined by fully reconciled CSS in growers name. All volumes of seed will qualify for Seed Treatment Bonus and Trait Herbicide Bonus rewards if the minimum 300 acres of DEKALB seed is met.
  9. Only sales between October 1st, 2020 and September 30th, 2021 will be used within calculations for this program.
  10. Eligible DEKALB® seed acres for calculating the achievement of the minimum acreage requirements for the Program are: a deemed 2.5 acres per corn bag, 0.74 acres per soy bag and 10 acres per canola bag.
  11. Eligible product rates for calculating the achievement of the minimum acreage requirements for the Program are: the application rate on the label of applicable products where a single label rate is defined and the following deemed rates of Raxil® PRO and Raxil® PRO SHIELD seed treatments – 65 acres per jug equivalent, Trilex® EverGol® seed treatment – 110 acres per jug equivalent, Evergol® Energy – 50 acres per litre. Roundup WeatherMAX® ® with Transorb® 2 Technology 15 acres/jug (.667 L/acre), Roundup Xtend® with Vaporgrip® Technology 5 acres/jug (2L/acre), XtendiMax with Vaporgrip® Technology 15 acres/jug (.667L/acre).
  12. Climate FieldView™ Activation Bonus – Receive a $1.00/ac rebate on Roundup WeatherMAX® with Transorb® 2 Technology (max of 500 acres) by early booking a minimum of 300 acres of DEKALB seed by January 29th, 2021 and activating your Climate Fieldview Account by December 31, 2020.
  13. In order to receive the Climate FieldView Activation Bonus rebate, grower must have an active Climate FieldView® platform account (the “Account”) on December 31, 2020 and have at least 40 acres of data streamed, created, or uploaded into the Account by September 31st, 2021.

  17. Roundup Ready® Technology contains genes that confer tolerance to glyphosate. Roundup Ready® 2 Technology contains genes that confer tolerance to glyphosate. Roundup Ready 2 Xtend® soybeans contains genes that confer tolerance to glyphosate and dicamba. LibertyLink® technology contains genes that confer tolerance to glufosinate. Glyphosate will kill crops that are not tolerant to glyphosate. Dicamba will kill crops that are not tolerant to dicamba. Glufosinate will kill crops that are not tolerant to glufosinate. Contact your local crop protection dealer or call the technical support line at 1-888-283-6847 for recommended Roundup Ready® Xtend Crop System weed control programs.

TERMS OF PROGRAM

  • Grower must purchase a minimum of 300 ac. of DEKALB® canola seed treated with BUTEO™ start seed treatment.
  •  Valid purchase period is October 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021.
  •  Grower must have a valid TSA number with Bayer.
  •  Grower must be enrolled in the 2021 BayerValue™ Program.
  • The Program applies to sales made in the provinces of Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan and the Peace River Region of British Columbia.
  • Participation in any aspect of the Program shall be, and be deemed to be, an acceptance of all terms set out in the Program.
  • Customer understands that Bayer reserves the right to conduct audits to ensure accuracy of information and all participants must agree to submit to and participate in such audits if required by Bayer.
  • Bayer reserves the right to invoice the full cost of any and all Program Award (defined below) in the result of an audit fail.

  • Program Award delivery may be delayed due to manufacturer production limitations
