Programs
- Unless otherwise permitted by Bayer in its sole discretion, growers must be registered with the BayerValue Program prior to July 31, 2024 and comply with all terms and conditions of the BayerValue Rules and Program to be eligible to receive benefits under the Program.
- Grower can only participate in and be reimbursed on the 2024 BayerValue East Rewards Program or the 2024 Hot Potatoes® Rewards Program but not both. The 2024 Hot Potatoes® Rewards Program is and shall be set out as a separate program. Grower can decide to change grower’s participation in which of the above programs by July 31, 2024 by calling the Rebate Fulfillment Centre at 1 888-283-6847.
- The Program is available to qualifying growers and their farming operations in British Columbia (other than the Peace River region), Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and NewFoundland and Labrador.
- Dollar qualification levels under the Program will be calculated using the suggested retail price (“SRP”) for applicable products that will be publicly communicated by Bayer for the 2024 growing season. Bayer may change SRP’s of applicable products in its sole discretion.
- Eligible corn and soybean trait/seed products (“Trait”) for the Program are: Roundup Ready® Corn 2, Roundup Ready 2 Yield® soybeans, Roundup Ready 2 Xtend® soybeans, SmartStax® RIB Complete® corn, SmartStax® PRO RIB Complete® corn, Trecepta® RIB Complete® corn, VT Double PRO® RIB Complete® corn and XtendFlex® soybeans from the following qualifying corn and/or soybean seed companies/brands in Canada: CROPLAN®, DEKALB®, ELITE, General Seeds, Maizex Seeds, DLF Pickseed, PRIDE Seeds, Prograin, Sevita® International and SeCan.
- Rewards are calculated based on matching acres on eligible crop protection ("Crop Protection") products and eligible Trait products. A min of 100 acres of Trait products must be purchased in order to qualify for savings. Any combination of 100 acres of corn and/or soybean Trait products may be purchased. Corn is calculated at 2.5 acres/bag and soybean at 0.74 acres/bag. Total Trait acres may be matched with each eligible Crop Protection brand acres, therefore allowing Trait acres to be used over and over again with each eligible match.
- For each Crop Protection brand a minimum of $1,000 is required for qualification. Once qualified within the Crop Protection brand, Crop Protection acres will be matched with eligible corn and soybean acres.
- Unmatched acre savings on eligible Crop Protection, meaning acres without a Trait match either by having less than 100 acres of Trait or having excess to Trait matched acres or by fact that Trait was not purchased, require a qualification of a minimum of $5,000 of eligible Crop Protection purchases (brands listed on the Program), and a minimum purchase of two eligible Crop Protection products at a minimum purchase level of $1,000 each.
- Roundup Xtend® will be calculated at 5 acres per smallest saleable unit, Roundup Xtend® 2 will be calculated at 7 acres per smallest saleable unit, XtendiMax® will be calculated at 15 acres per smallest saleable unit, XtendiMax® 2 will be calculated at 20 acres per smallest saleable unit, Sencor® 75DF will be calculated at 10 acres per 2.5 kg jug, Sencor® 480F will be calculated at 15 acres per 5 L jug, and Proline® will be calculated at 30 acres per 5.1 L jug (corn rate).
- Proof of purchase of applicable products is required for the Program. If you purchased applicable products from a retailer providing transactional data to Bayer, the provision of invoices directly from a grower will not be required. If a grower purchased products from a retailer that is not providing transactional data, the grower needs to provide invoices directly to Bayer. If a grower does not know whether a retailer is providing transactional data to Bayer, ask the retailer or call Bayer at 1 888-283-6847.
