2025 Take Flight with the Bayer Acre Program Rules

It’s time to Take Flight with the Bayer Acre! Get rewarded for growing DEKALB® canola, while controlling challenging weeds in your cereal crop.

Purchase a minimum 500 acres of DEKALB® canola seed and 500 acres of qualifying cereal broadleaf herbicide, plus 500 acres of qualifying cereal graminicide between October 1, 2024 and September 30, 2025 and receive a rebate in the form of $2,000 flight voucher.

OR

Purchase a minimum 500 acres of DEKALB® canola seed and 500 acres of a qualifying cross spectrum cereal product between October 1, 2024 and September 30, 2025 and receive a rebate in the form of $2,000 flight voucher.

PLUS

If you also purchase minimum 500 acres of HuskieTM PRE herbicide, you’ll receive an additional rebate in the form of a $1,000 flight voucher ($3,000 in total flight vouchers).

Important legal information and full terms and conditions of the 2025 Take Flight with the Bayer Acre Program (also the “Program”) are set out below.

BayerValue Rules

  1. The BayerValue™ Program (“BayerValue Program”) consists of numerous Bayer CropScience Inc. (“Bayer”) grower programs that are identified by Bayer from time to time as being part of the BayerValue Program. This Program is part of the BayerValue Program.
  2. BayerValue Program rules (“BayerValue Rules”) apply to all BayerValue Programs including the Program. The complete BayerValue Rules for the 2025 growing season are found here or by calling the Bayer Rebate Fulfillment Centre at: 1 855-449-2029.
  3. The BayerValue Rules include consent from the grower respecting the collection, use and disclosure of personal information and use of commercial electronic messages for purposes discussed in the BayerValue Rules. For a summary of key BayerValue Rules privacy and consent terms click here.

Programs

  1. Purchase min. 500 ac. DEKALB® canola seed and 500 ac. of qualifying cereal broadleaf plus 500 ac. of qualifying cereal graminicide or purchase min. 500 ac. DEKALB canola seed and 500 ac. of a qualifying cross spectrum cereal product between October 1, 2024 and September 30, 2025 and receive a rebate in the form of a $2,000 flight voucher. If you also purchase min. 500 ac. HuskieTM PRE herbicide, you’ll receive an additional rebate in the form of a $1,000 flight voucher ($3,000 total).
  2. Qualifying growers must:
    1. Be registered with the BayerValueTM Program prior to July 31, 2025 and comply with all terms and conditions of the BayerValue Program Rules
    2. Have a valid Technology Stewardship Agreement. Growers must have a valid BASF Liberty® Trait Agreement if purchasing DEKALB® canola with the LibertyLink® trait.
    3. The Program is available to qualifying growers and their farming operations in the provinces of Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and British Columbia
  3. Products included:
    1. All DEKALB® brand canola seed
    2. Cereal herbicides include Infinity®, Infinity FX®, Buctril M®, Cirray®, Tundra®, Varro®, Varro FX®, Velocity® M3, HuskieTM PRE herbicides
  4. Product use rate calculations:
    • DEKALB® Canola seed:
      • 10 acres per canola bag. Eligible DEKALB® seed selling units (“SSU”) for calculating the Program are: 1 SSU of canola = 4.25 million seeds. Canola: 1 Bag = 1 SSU, Canola Mini Bulk = 20 SSU’s
    • Broadleaf Herbicide:
      • 20 acres per 6.7L jug Infinity herbicide
      • 20 acres per 8.1L jug Infinity FX herbicide
      • 20 acres per 8L jug Buctril M herbicide
    • Graminicide Herbicide:
      • 20 acres per 6.48L jug Cirray Herbicide
      • 40 acres per 8.1L jug Varro Herbicide
      • 20 acres per 8.1L jug Varro FX Herbicide
    • Cross Spectrum Herbicide:
      • 10 acres per 8.1L jug Tundra Herbicide
      • 20 acres per 8.1L jug Velocity M3 Herbicide
    • Pre Burn Herbicide:
      • 20 acres per 6.7L jug Huskie PRE herbicide
  5. The rebate award
    1. Rebate Award (Award) consisting of flight voucher(s) shall be earned by the farm and made out and delivered to the individual listed as the farm primary contact as per BayerValue customer account.
    2. Limit of one Award per farm entity.
    3. The Award must be accepted as awarded and cannot be substituted, sold, transferred, assigned, or redeemed for cash.
    4. Notwithstanding the preceding sentence, Bayer reserves the right to substitute an Award for another award of equal or greater value if for any reason the Award becomes unavailable. Award delivery may be delayed due to provider limitations.
    5. The Participant shall be responsible for all tax implications, if any, that may be associated with participation in and an Award under this Program.
    6. Participation in any aspect of the Program shall be, and be deemed to be, an acceptance of all terms set out in the Program. Customer understands that Bayer reserves the right to conduct audits to ensure accuracy of information and all participants must agree to submit to and participate in such audits if required by Bayer. Bayer shall be repaid the full cost of any and all Awards by the Participant in the result of an audit fail.
    7. Expected fulfillment of the Award is January 2026 following the reconciliation by Bayer of 2025 growing season customer product transactions.
    8. Flight voucher(s) are expected to be purchased through Air Canada and/or WestJet Airlines, at Bayer’s discretion.
  6. Bayer is a member of Excellence Through Stewardship® (ETS). Bayer products are commercialized in accordance with ETS Product Launch Stewardship Guidance, and in compliance with Bayer’s Policy for Commercialization of Biotechnology-Derived Plant Products in Commodity Crops. These products have been approved for import into key export markets with functioning regulatory systems. Any crop or material produced from these products can only be exported to, or used, processed or sold in countries where all necessary regulatory approvals have been granted. It is a violation of national and international law to move material containing biotech traits across boundaries into nations where import is not permitted. Growers should talk to their grain handler or product purchaser to confirm their buying position for these products.
