Admire® has been an important product for Canadian potato growers for over 10 years. It provides economical, broad-spectrum control of many important insects in many different crops, most notably potatoes. The recommended use pattern in potatoes is foliar application for control of Colorado potato beetle, aphids, potato leafhopper and potato flea beetle.

    Apply the specified rate using a contained, shielded spray system in a ventilated area
    Use ConeJet nozzles
    Drum treaters are recommended to provide most consistent overall coverage
    Apply before application of fungicide dust
    Plant treated seed pieces in a timely fashion. Exposure to sunlight will reduce insecticide effectiveness and promote tuber root and shoot development.
    Ensure workers are wearing proper protective equipment
    Dispose of any treated seed as per label directions
