MyBayer is a new portal for managing your Bayer Crop Science Canada information, including tracking your past purchases, reviewing your BayerValue™ rewards, and updating your personal information. Access it anywhere, anytime, with a few clicks.

How to create a MyBayer account

To create a MyBayer account you’ll need your Bayer Customer Account Code and the email or phone number associated to your account. If you don’t know your Bayer Customer Account Code, there’s a couple places you can check.

Account Creation

    Creating a MyBayer account gives you easy and convenient access to your Bayer Crop Science information including BayerValue™ Rewards and past purchases.
    We will no longer be providing statements with BayerValue cheques. Creating a MyBayer account will give you access to your BayerValue Rewards statement details.


    Your Bayer Customer Account Code is a 5-letter code unique to you. If you don’t know your Bayer Customer Account Code, there’s a couple places you can check. First, check the email we sent you about creating a MyBayer account. If you didn’t receive an email, check the letter we sent you. If you didn’t receive a communication from us, refer to your last BayerValue Rewards rebate cheque statement. Your Bayer Customer Account Code will be listed there.

    Go to your Account Settings → Personal Information, and you can update your email and/or phone number there. Don’t forget to save your changes!

    Click on the Forgot My Password button and you will have the ability to reset it.


    It may be that you have an outdated email or phone number in our system. Please contact the Bayer Crop Science Division Rebate Fulfillment Centre at 1-888-283-6847 ext. 4 or email rebate.fulfillment.ca@bayercropscience.com.


    If you are your farm’s administrator, go to your Account Settings and invite that member to join your farm. They will receive an email to sign up. If you are not the admin, ask your farm administrator to invite the member in their Account Settings.

Onboarding

    Any pre-existing information tied to your account in Bayer’s database will be pre-populated. You can see what exists and update what should be changed.


    You should treat MyBayer as the source of truth for your information. Anything you update will replace what was previously saved to your account.

Dashboard

    This may be because the MyBayer farm administrator did not grant you permissions to view this information. If this was a mistake, contact your administrator and they can edit the user permissions to grant you full access. If you are the MyBayer farm administrator, contact the Bayer Crop Science Division Rebate Fulfillment Centre at 1-888-283-6847 ext. 4 or email rebate.fulfillment.ca@bayercropscience.com.

Account Settings

    Go to Account Settings → Security. Here you can enter your new password twice and once you save your changes, you can use your new password to log in.


    1. Go to your Account Settings and navigate to Farm Member Permissions.

    2. Click Invite a New User to the Farm.

    3. Add your first name, last name, and your NEW email address into the fields.

    4. Select “Full Access” under Access Level.

    5. Navigate to your NEW email inbox and click on the message received.

    6. Follow the prompts and create a password associated to the new email address.

    7. Log out of the account associated with your new email and log back in with your old account.

    8. Navigate to Account Settings and scroll to Farm Member Permissions.

    9. Select the NEW email account and select Transfer Ownership.

    10. You will need to log into your NEW email and accept the transfer.

    11. Once you have accepted the account transfer, you can use your NEW email account for all future MyBayer interactions.


    If you would like to receive electronic rebate payments instead of a cheque, go to Account Settings - Farm Information and select Interac e-transfer or Payment Exchange.


    Go to Account Settings → Preferred Retailers and click on Add Retailer to change your preferred retail. If your preferred retailer is not listed, contact the Bayer Crop Science Division Rebate Fulfillment Centre at 1-888-283-6847 ext. 4 or email rebate.fulfillment.ca@bayercropscience.com.

    Go to Account Settings → User Permissions, and scroll to the bottom of the screen. Click on Transfer Ownership and you will be able to select any user who already belongs to your farm from a drop down menu. Once you confirm, they will receive an email and have to accept.
    Transfering ownership of your MyBayer account will result in transferring primary ownership, administrative rights and access to financial information including rebate payments. The new owner will be notified of this change and has the right to remove you entirely from the MyBayer account.

    If you want to maintain ownership but add a new user to go to Account Settings → User Permissions and click on "Invite a New User".


    If you delete your MyBayer account you will no longer be able to sign in, and all your data will be deleted. Deleting your account is a permanent and non-recoverable action.
    We recommend you transfer ownership of your MyBayer account before deactivating. This will keep your MyBayer account active and the new owner can access your farm’s financial information including rebate payments.
    To do so, go to Account Settings, select User Permissions and then click on the "Proceed to transfer ownership" link.
    If you would still like to Deactivate your MyBayer account, go to Account Settings → Personal Information and scroll to the bottom of the screen. Click on Deactivate MyBayer Account.


    This is because you are not the MyBayer farm administrator. Contact your farm admin so they can make the necessary updates or request that they transfer farm ownership to you.
