How to Apply

Potatoes

For potatoes, apply Propulse fungicide at 750 mL/ha (304 mL/ac.)

Begin fungicide applications preventively. After the initial application, one additional application may be made 10 to14 days afterwards if conditions remain favourable for continued or increased disease development. When disease pressure is severe, use the shorter intervals. Ensure that the area to be treated is covered uniformly. Good spray coverage and canopy penetration are important for best results. The application may be made by ground or aerial spray equipment.

Bushberries (Crop Sub Group 13-07B)

For control of Monilinia blight on bushberries, apply Propulse fungicide at 750 mL/ha (304 mL/ac.)

Begin applications when 40 percent of the blossom buds have the bud scales separated. A second application of Propulse or another approved fungicide should be applied 7 to 10 days later.

For suppression of septoria leaf spot on bushberries, apply Propulse fungicide at 750 mL/ha (304 mL/ac.)

For suppression of leaf rust and Valdensinia leaf spot on bushberries, apply Propulse fungicide at 1,000 mL/ha (405 mL/ac.)

Begin applications at the first sign of disease. After the initial application, one additional application may be made 10 to14 days afterwards if conditions remain favourable for continued or increased disease development.

A maximum of 2,000 mL/ha of Propulse may be applied per crop year. Application may be made by ground spray equipment only.

Low-growing berries, except strawberries (Crop Sub Group 13-07H)

For low-growing berries (except strawberries), apply Propulse fungicide at 875 mL/ha (354 mL/ac.)

Begin applications at early bloom for fruit rot. Make a second application of Propulse or another approved fungicide 7 to 14 days later.

Applied specified dosage in the following methods:

  1. Foliar spray application
  2. Soil application: Chemigation into the root-zone through low-pressure drip, trickle, micro-sprinkler or equivalent equipment

A maximum of 1,750 mL/ha of Propulse may be applied per crop year. Application may be made by ground spray equipment only.

Re-entry Intervals and Pre-Harvest Intervals

Re-cropping restrictions

Do not replant to alfalfa for 14 days after application. Crops listed on the label, crops of crop subgroup 6C (dried shelled pea and bean (except soybeans)), crops of oilseed crop subgroups 20A (rapeseeds) and 20B (sunflowers), cereals, corn, soybeans, peanuts, cucurbit vegetables, tuberous and corm vegetables and sugarbeets may be rotated anytime following the last application of Propulse. All other crops may be replanted 30 days following the last application of Propulse.

Pre-Harvest Intervals

For potatoes, do not apply within 14 days of harvest.

For bushberries, do not apply within 7 days of harvest.

For low-growing berries (except strawberries), do not apply within 45 days of harvest of bearberry; bilberry; cloudberry; cranberry; muntries and partridgeberry. Do not apply within 7 days of harvest of blueberry and lingonberry.

Application Requirements

Field sprayer application:

DO NOT apply during periods of dead calm. Avoid application of this product when winds are gusty.

DO NOT apply with spray droplets smaller than the American Society of Agricultural Engineers (ASAE S572.1) medium classification. Boom height must be 60 cm or less above the crop or ground.

For potato aerial application:

DO NOT apply during periods of dead calm. Avoid application of this product when winds are gusty.

DO NOT apply when wind speed is greater than 16 km/h at flying height at the site of application.

DO NOT apply with spray droplets smaller than the American Society of Agricultural Engineers (ASAE S572.1) medium classification. To reduce drift caused by turbulent wingtip vortices, the nozzle distribution along the spray boom length must not exceed 65% of the wing- or rotor span.
