the soil after application. Under severe insect pressure,
application should be made to a 15-metre strip along fence
rows around the field. Observe 15-metre buffer between crop
and adjacent body of water when applying by ground.

Grasshopper Apply when young insects are present or signs of damage are
evident. Apply when grasshoppers are in the 2-4 nymphal
stage. Best control will be activated when application is made
prior to wing development. Under severe insect pressure,
application should also be made to a 15-metre strip along fence
rows around the field. The higher rate should be used when the
proportion is high rate should be used when the proportion of
late nymphal stages in the population is high and the canopy is
dense, inhibiting penetration.
Aerial: Read instructions for Aerial Application Section 7
(label). Observe 100-metre buffer between crop and any body
of water. When applying by air. (Section 4 label)

Where a rate range is given in the Directions For Use, the higher rate should be used when:

  • crop canopy is dense and foliage is inhibiting spray penetration
  • a range of insect growth stages are present (for example 1st through 5th nymphal stages of grasshoppers OR larvae and adults of Colorado potato beetle)
  • insect populations are very high

Packaging
8 x 1 L jugs per case

Timing
For maximum efficacy, it is necessary to:
- keep crop and pest under observation to be able to spray at the right moment
- ensure that insects are contacted during spraying, especially if they are found on the underside of leaves or if the foliage is very dense
Unless otherwise stated, apply Decis when insects first appear and repeat as required to maintain control.
